Four students—Alice, Brian, Clara, and Daniel—are sitting in a classroom in a row. Each student is wearing a different color shirt: red, blue, green, and yellow. We don’t know who is wearing which color, but here are some clues to help you figure it out:

  1. Alice is sitting next to the person in the blue shirt.

  2. Brian is not wearing the red shirt.

  3. The person wearing the green shirt is sitting between Clara and the person in the yellow shirt.

  4. Daniel is not sitting next to Clara.

Four friends—Emma, Oliver, Sophia, and Jacob—each watched a different type of movie last weekend: comedy, action, horror, and romantic. Can you figure out who watched which movie using the clues below?

  1. Emma didn’t watch the action or romantic movie.

  2. The person who watched the horror movie sat next to Sophia during the movie night.

  3. Jacob loves action movies, but he didn’t watch one this time.

  4. Oliver didn’t watch the comedy movie.

  5. The person who watched the romantic movie is not Sophia.
