AC Milan lost 2-1 to Parma on Saturday night, continuing their winless start to the season. The match was played at Parma's stadium, Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Parma scored very early, just two minutes into the game. Dennis Man scored from a cross by Emanuele Valeri. Milan then tied the game when Christian Pulisic scored from close range.

Milan tried hard to score another goal, but Parma caught them off guard. Pontus Almqvist passed the ball to Matteo Cancellieri, who scored to make it 2-1 for Parma. This goal was enough for Parma to win the game.

Milan now has only one point from two games, which is not a good start for the 2024-25 season. They will face tougher teams like Lazio and Inter in the next few games.

Milan’s coach, Paulo Fonseca, made five changes to the team that previously drew with Torino. New players like Strahinja Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez, Tijjani Reijnders, Yunus Musah, and Noah Okafor were added to the lineup.

Milan's defense was weak from the start. Parma's Valeri ran past Milan's Davide Calabria and sent a low cross to Dennis Man, who scored easily.

Milan struggled in the first 20 minutes, with many dangerous crosses from Parma causing problems. Milan also had trouble creating chances to score.

Milan's best chance came in the middle of the first half when Christian Pulisic passed the ball to Musah, whose shot went just wide. Milan had some more chances later, but they couldn't score.

Parma reminded Milan of their danger on the counterattack, with Sohm almost scoring from the edge of the box. Milan's defender Pavlovic also made a risky but successful tackle to stop Man from scoring.

In the second half, Milan came close to scoring when Reijnders hit the crossbar with a powerful shot. Okafor also missed a chance shortly after. Parma had a goal disallowed for offside, and Man missed a curling shot wide.

Milan finally tied the game in the 66th minute. Rafael Leao made a strong run and passed to Theo Hernandez, who then passed back to Pulisic. Pulisic scored easily into an empty net.

However, Parma took the lead again with 13 minutes left. After a mistake by Leao, Almqvist passed to Cancellieri, who scored the winning goal.

Milan made some substitutions after Parma’s second goal, but they couldn't find another equalizer.
